Synthetic Fuel
EU-wide scoping study mapping the supply of organic waste from urban sources, the technical process of treatment and conversion into synthetic fuels (gas and liquid) and the current and potential market for synfuels. Identification of the barriers (legal, technical and financial) to the development of the technologies. Preparation of guidelines to develop synthetic fuel from organic urban waste.

Low Carbon Demonstration Centre
Developing a proposal to establish a National Low Carbon Demonstration Centre in the Midlands aimed at creating a centre of excellence for environmental and renewable technologies, sustainable buildings and low carbon transport. Centre will bring together supply chain companies, local authorities, R&D organisations and the general public to raise awareness, demonstrate technologies and put low carbon solutions into practice.

Industrial Waste Strategy
Bayton Road Industrial Estate Focus (BRIEF)
Carried out an end-of-project evaluation of this initiative funded through ERDF and AWM to improve the business environment of this large industrial estate in Bedworth with emphasis upon development of environmental resource and waste management practices on the estate.
